T's Recommendations
T. is bossy and loves to tell folks what they should be watching, reading, and listening to! Discussing something T recommends is also an easy way to start a conversation with them!
Music Recs
Do I like the music because it's made by Black and Queer artists? Or is the music good because it's made by Black and Queer artists? Probably a bit of both. This playlist- like me is very eclectic- maybe you will find a song or two that you like. I am always open to new Black and Queer artists to add.
Book Recs
I try to keep my StoryGraph updated with the books I am reading. Maybe you have a GoodReads account, Storygraph can serve as a companion book app. I prefer it because of its clean interface and ease of tracking progress, whether it is an audiobook, e-book, or physical copy. The fact that it was founded by a Black woman- Nadia Odunayo is an added incentive to support Storygraph.
You do not need The StoryGraph app account to see what I am reading/have read recently. If we have a book in common, don't hesitate to chat me up!
Currently, sitting with Jill Ciment's Consent. A short but powerful memoir that challenges us to examine what we remember.
