Pre-order Search Work: A Collective Inquiry into the Job Hunt Edited by RACHEL MEADE SMITH

This collection features a short play, 11:59PM: For Black Trans Artists Spiraling in the Submission Portal, co-written by T. Chester and NOVA CYPRESS BLACK.

Logline: In the final minutes before an application deadline, a Black trans artist’s bedroom fills with personified hope, desperation, jaded wisdom, & rejection emails, turning a simple “submit” button into a full-blown reckoning about survival, visibility, & creative worth.

2025 FORGE Fellowship

T. was one of nine individuals/ small groups selected for this 6-month fellowship for creators and artists.

The Nigga Garden Retreat (May 2025)

T. was one of three artists selected for Church of Play's first retreat designed for Black Queer and Trans artists to play and rest. The Nigga Garden will be held in Charlotte, N.C.
